Our clients, a young couple working in the film industry, were looking for a minimum four-bedroom family home in Chiswick with a budget of £4–6 million. The brief was for a quiet residential street, ideally within Zones 1 or 2, with excellent transport links and access to well-regarded schools.

A south-facing garden was important, alongside a strong focus on sustainability. With the clients conscious of their carbon footprint, they wanted a home that reflected their environmental priorities.

We identified an unlisted property that offered an unusual combination of location, quality and sustainability. The house had been comprehensively retrofitted to near-Passivhaus standards, with a strong focus on energy efficiency and indoor air quality.

Given its exceptional specification, the property attracted considerable interest and ultimately went to best-and-final bids. We successfully secured the house for our clients and moved quickly through the transaction, reaching exchange and completion within five months.

Following the purchase, we also introduced the clients to an interior designer to help them personalise and enhance their new home.
