RedBook founder joins leading property buying adviser to support next phase of growth.
London, July 2026 – Property Vision, the UK's longest-established property buying adviser, has appointed Sandy Mitchell as Non-Executive Director.
Mitchell brings more than three decades of leadership experience spanning media, luxury brands, and prime residential property. He read law at Oxford University and qualified as a barrister before moving into a distinguished career in journalism and publishing, including senior editorial roles at Country Life and The Sunday Telegraph. He later founded RedBook, the influential property consultancy committed to changing the way construction and design projects are delivered to private clients.
Working alongside Senior Partner Philip Harvey and the wider leadership team, Mitchell will provide strategic guidance as Property Vision continues to strengthen its position across prime residential markets in the UK’s most sought-after locations and rapidly expanding network overseas.
Philip Harvey, Senior Partner at Property Vision, said:
"Sandy’s knowledge and deep experience of media, architecture, and growing a client-focused property advisory business, makes him the perfect Non-Exec for Property Vision. Sandy understands not only how this market operates commercially, but also the importance of trust, reputation, and long-term relationships — qualities that have always been central to our philosophy.
Property Vision aspire to make buyer representation available to clients in every high value property market around the world, and Sandy's strategic perspective and extensive network will add enormous value. His experience, judgement and proven track record will significantly enhance both the advice we provide to clients and the long-term development of our business. We are delighted to welcome him to the team."
Sandy Mitchell commented:
"Property buyers have access to more information than ever before, but interpreting that information, understanding local markets and making confident decisions has become more challenging in an increasingly fragmented market.
Property Vision has built an exceptional reputation by acting exclusively for buyers and providing independent advice that is entirely focused on their interests. Having bought my own family’s longterm homes in London and the country with Property Vision’s help, and known the firm and its team for over 20 years, I believe wholeheartedly in the service they give buyers of best-in-class property. I'm looking forward to contributing to the next stage of the firm's growth."
Mitchell founded RedBook following a distinguished career in magazines, newspapers and broadcasting and has remained closely involved with the UK's prime residential sector, advising businesses and maintaining relationships across many of the industry's leading professionals.
The appointment reflects Property Vision's continued investment in strategic leadership as demand grows for independent advice across the world’s prime residential property markets.
